The Tulsa Christmas Parade has received INTERNATIONAL recognition! Yesterday (September 25th, 2019) in Williamsburg, Virginia, the Tulsa Christmas Parade and Parade Director, Jessica Gullo, were presented with the prestigious 2019 IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Gold Grand Pinnacle Award during the International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA) Pinnacle Awards Ceremony held at the 64th Annual IFEA Convention, Expo & Retreat.

The International Festivals & Events Association, founded in 1956, recognizes outstanding accomplishments and top quality creative, promotional, operational and community outreach programs and materials produced by festivals and events around the world.
This professional competition draws entries from some of the world’s top festivals and events. Winning entries came from organizations as diverse as the Dublin Irish Festival in Dublin; the OC Fair in Costa Mesa, CA; the National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, DC; the Kentucky Derby Festival in Louisville, KY; the Pasadena Tournament of Roses in Pasadena, CA; The Parade Company in Detroit, MI; the Philadelphia Flower Show, Philadelphia, PA and Canada Day at Canada Place, Vancouver, BC, Canada. International winners included organizations from; Abu Dhabi, Australia, Slovenia and South Korea.
The International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA) paid tribute to the Tulsa Christmas Parade – presented by American Waste Control on Wednesday, September 25th, 2019 during the 2019 IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards Ceremony held at the 64th Annual IFEA Convention, Expo & Retreat, presented by Haas & Wilkerson Insurance, in Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia, U.S.A., where they were presented with an award in the top spot at the prestigious IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards Competition. Awards were won in the following category:
GOLD – GRAND PINNACLE (budget under $250,000)
“This awards ceremony is the Academy Awards of special events around the world,” said Jessica Gullo, Tulsa Christmas Parade Director. “We want to recognize and thank our dedicated committee which has helped make Tulsa Christmas Parade an internationally awarded event for all of Tulsa!”
